Medications are prepared centrally, by the ward or pharmacy, for the whole week ahead of time in order to simplify the medication dispensing process. This system is particularly well-suited to the long-term care area as medication treatments are very regular in this area.

WIEGAND® Weekly Trays and Weekly Sets
WIEGAND® weekly trays were developed in order to store and transport weekly medications for patients in MediDispensers in a format is secure and makes efficient use of space. WIEGAND® weekly trays are compatible with WIEGAND® MediDispensers, as available in various different sizes and designs, as well as for 7 or even 8 WIEGAND® MediDispensers.
The WIEGAND® weekly sets each include 7 WIEGAND® MediDispensers and are labelled with the weekdays, and depending on the specific design, also show the dispensing date. They are available in a range of languages.
WIEGAND® Weekly Containers
WIEGAND® weekly containers are perfectly designed to store WIEGAND® MediDispenser in a way that medications can been seen, whilst keeping them secure. The small and large-format weekly containers have space for up to 7 WIEGAND® MediDispensers and can be closed with a sliding lid. This means that the weekly containers can be transported safely without the individual MediDispeners being opened or bent.
To ensure each WIEGAND® weekly container and WIEGAND® MediDispenser is clearly assigned to an individual patient, thereby increasing patient safety, we can also provide you with a broad range of labelling tools.
WIEGAND® WiBox pro
The weekly set was developed in collaboration with the Spitex association and a range of Spitex organisations, and has been specially designed to meet the requirements of outpatient care, as well as taking of medications at home and on the move.
The WiBox pro makes it possible to prepare medications quickly, whilst ensuring a clear overview of the products available. This robust and lockable unit ensures secure storage as well as safe transport of prepared medications. The high-quality materials and easy-to-use design make the WiBox pro the ideal product for long-term use when at home or on the move.

Wiegand® WeekBoxes are a fantastic, simple tool for ensuring the right medications are given over the course of a whole week. WeekBoxes make it possible to prepare all of the week’s medications in advance, also making them ideal for use by carers and pharmacies. These easy-to-clean weekly containers allow medications to be stored in seven medium-sized or large medication dispensers, making it easier to ensure the right medications are taken at the right time, meeting the needs of a broad range of medication-based treatments.
